Why was The Copula Program founded?

The Copula Program was founded to try to bridge the ever-widening achievement gap that exists among high school students through valuable mentorship opportunities. The founders of The Copula Program experienced firsthand the importance and value of professional connections and wanted to make it more accessible to students who would otherwise not have such an opportunity.

What is the application process like?

The application to the Copula Program consists of personal information, a series of personal statements, and a supplementary academic sample. This sample is typically a graded paper from a curricular class. Our application contains a section to share any additional information that will help us contextualize your candidacy. Application requirements are subject to change.

What requirements are there for applicants?

Applicants are required to be enrolled in high school. Aside from that, applicants do not need to have any prior experience in their field.

Are there any costs associated with the program?

The Copula Program is entirely free to minimize barriers associated with pre-professional experience. We hold accessibility as a priority.
